Market at Red Deer is back and has curbside pickup

Customers can now arrange to have their purchases picked up on any given Saturday while the Market at Red Deer operates on Saturdays from 8-12:30, May to October.

How does it work?

Go to the Vendor listings. Shop and purchase your items from the vendor(s) in advance. Make arrangements by letting the vendor know you will be using “Curb side” pick up.

On the Saturday morning of the market simply drive up to the curbside station, located on the east side of the Servus Arena.

Upon arrival, call the vendor and tell them you are at the curbside station and ready to receive your pre-arranged order. The vendor or a runner will deliver your order to the curbside area, set in on the “barrier table” for you to pick up and return home.

That easy, that safe. No social distancing issues to deal with and a safer way for those who are at higher risk from the Corona-19 Virus.

Go to the vendors list to find vendor or vendors you would like to shop. Vendors must be listed through the vendors list to participate.

The City of Red Deer reminds residents the weekly road closure will be in effect every Saturday, starting May 16 for the Red Deer Public Market. The road closure will be in place from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on 43 Street between 48 Avenue and 44 Street.

Motorists are reminded to use caution at cross walks and watch for pedestrians.
