Lacombe celebrates culture and harvest at 9th annual event

Alberta’s oldest working Blacksmith Shop is located in Lacombe and is open to visitors Sept., 26 and 27 for the Lacombe Culture and Harvest Festival.

Lacombe Culture and Harvest Festival has become an annual tradition with lots of family fun. Residents were invited to decorate their scarecrow and send Lacombe Tourism a selfie with their scarecrow for a chance to win a $100 gift card to a Lacombe business of their choice.

The ninth annual Lacombe Culture and Harvest Festival had events in person and online to celebrate the diverse heritage, arts and culture of the Lacombe region. Events took place at the Lacombe Agricultural grounds and the Lacombe Memorial Centre, as well as an assortment of online tutorials for cultural cooking and crafts.
