Red Deer and area youth can enter Youth for Agriculture contest to win $1,000

Red Deer and area youth can enter the Youth for Agriculture Award contest to win up to $1,000.

Youth can use their investigative skills and creativity to write an article, create a video, draw a picture or submit an original song on this years topic: How can Red Deer County farmers/ranchers and urban neighbours build positive relationships with each other?

Entering is easy. Simply use your investigative skills and creativity to write an article, create a video, draw a picture or submit an original song on the ASB Youth for Agriculture Award topic of the year and submit your entry by the deadline. Entry deadline is Nov. 15, 2020.

Red Deer County and area residents aged six to 25 are invited to enter the 2020 Agricultural Service Board Youth for Agriculture Award contest.  

Prizes will be awarded in three categories: Senior (ages 18 to 25), Junior (ages 12 to 17) and Youth (ages six to 11); Prize winners’ article, video, drawing or song will be featured in the Red Deer County News, the Red Deer County website and social media accounts, and in promotional materials.
